ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ is pleased to announce the launch of Diligent Community, our brand-new board governance system! This new platform is a progression from our previous platform, BoardDocs, and offers a one-stop destination for all board-related materials, including agendas, minutes, and more. This new platform will also host the meeting materials for our participatory groups, including the Academic and Classified Senates, the Student Government Association, and the Foundation Board of Directors.

The public is welcome to attend National Apprenticeship Week at ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ (ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ) beginning November 13. The week will offer workshops, trade fairs and recruitment events for anyone interested in earn-while-you-learn apprenticeship programs that train participants for good-paying careers.

ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ (ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ), the ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ Athletics Department, and the ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ Foundation celebrated four Athletics Hall of Fame Inductees and two Foundation honorees on Oct. 13, 2023 during the Hall of Fame and Recognition Ceremony.

ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ Seeks Applicants for Vacancy on Board

ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ is seeking applicants interested in filling a seat left vacant after former Trustee Joshua Rivera resigned to relocate outside of his Trustee Area. The board decided at a special meeting on Oct. 2, 2023, to make a provisional appointment to cover the remainder of Rivera's term. His seat is up for election in November 2024.

ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ to host Pride Month Events

ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ (ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ) will host several events to celebrate Pride Month in October. Kick-off events will be held on Monday, Oct. 2 at each of its campuses and the fifth annual Drag Show will be held at 6 p.m. in the San Jacinto Campus Theater. Events will continue through October.

ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ Board Approves 2023-2024 Budget

The ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ (ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ) Board of Trustees on Thursday, September 14 adopted a $157,690,158 Unrestricted General Fund budget for 2023-2024. The Unrestricted General Fund pays for operations, materials, supplies, salaries and benefits, among other things.
