Students interested in transferring to a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) can get accepted on the spot and find all the information they need at an HBCU Fall Caravan Tour stop at ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ (ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ) on Monday, October 23.

The public is welcome to attend National Apprenticeship Week at ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ (ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ) beginning November 13. The week will offer workshops, trade fairs and recruitment events for anyone interested in earn-while-you-learn apprenticeship programs that train participants for good-paying careers.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ (ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ), the ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Athletics Department, and the ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Foundation celebrated four Athletics Hall of Fame Inductees and two Foundation honorees on Oct. 13, 2023 during the Hall of Fame and Recognition Ceremony.

Undocumented Student Action Week, aimed at building greater awareness of and support for policies bolstering undocumented student success, returns to ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ (ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ) with workshops, webinars, films, discussions and more beginning Monday, October 16.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ is seeking applicants interested in filling a seat left vacant after former Trustee Joshua Rivera resigned to relocate outside of his Trustee Area. The board decided at a special meeting on Oct. 2, 2023, to make a provisional appointment to cover the remainder of Rivera's term. His seat is up for election in November 2024.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ District (ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ), the ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Foundation, and HCN Bank announced a historic $1 million naming rights and sponsorship agreement that names ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ's new stadium at its Menifee Valley Campus "HCN Bank Stadium."

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ (ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ) will host several events to celebrate Pride Month in October. Kick-off events will be held on Monday, Oct. 2 at each of its campuses and the fifth annual Drag Show will be held at 6 p.m. in the San Jacinto Campus Theater. Events will continue through October.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ was honored to be recognized by California State University San Marcos as a Community Partner. Together, we equip students in our region with the skills they need to enter high-demand, high growth careers.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Board Chair Joshua Rivera announced his resignation during the regular September 14 Board of Trustees meeting as he is moving outside of his service area with his new wife.

The ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ (ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ) Board of Trustees on Thursday, September 14 adopted a $157,690,158 Unrestricted General Fund budget for 2023-2024. The Unrestricted General Fund pays for operations, materials, supplies, salaries and benefits, among other things.
